Sounds like the wifi chip was ready to die and on its last leg.
Deactivating the sim had nothing to do with it, just happened around the same time.

We don't know. The best you can do is call your local Apple Stores and AT&T (iPhones go on sale for walk-ins on the 29th for AT&T) stores often to see when they have stock available.
Yeah, but I figured some smart posters could make a good educated guess, based on what happened with past iphones

Letting Android users access the iTunes music store would actually be a very good idea for Apple.

Hey guys and gals, looking for a little expert insight...
I have a Mac Mini (mid-2010, non-server model running 10.6.7) hooked up to my TV for a pretty sweet home theater setup. At some point in the near future, I'm going to, one way or another, have a media server set up to stream to other TV's in the house (using either my wife's PC or my old Xbox with XBMC installed), watch on my iPhone and MBA away from home, etc. I've been eying a few NAS systems, but I noticed OS X Lion will include server functionality. Does this mean I could just hook a large external HD to my Mac Mini and use it as a server instead of buying a stand-alone server? And if so, should I? Are there advantages to going with a stand alone unit (like the Synology 211J, which I've had my eye on?)
Thanks in advance for the help!!

when this app is running, is it constantly streaming data usage? i have a couple of chats going, just started using a couple of days ago. and for the first time i got a warning from Att then im at 70% of my usage for the month.
my internet has been down at home, so no wifi - but didnt think that would make much of a difference, this is the only app i can think of that would make this drastic of a change

Apple couldn't have bought a better advertisement. The reactions of the studio members are priceless. It was as if Oprah just told them she was giving them each a million dollars.

I'm considering waiting in line. I didn't preorder since I wanted a White iPhone and now I'm wondering what the possibility of them having it in store is.

This pic rocks. You have my vote. The simplicity of it is what sells it for me. (Plus the DJ-esque hands moving, like you're doing some scratching on the notebooks or something.)

I am looking for an app to dimm my backlight more than what apple offers.
It is so annoying during the night working with minimum 30% brightness.
I was using "dimmer" before, but with ios4.3.2 cannot use it anymore.
Any suggestions?

Agree with tyr2, a 2 MB limit is insanely small.
If you have access to the unix command line on both ends (use Terminal on the Mac), you can use the 'split' and 'cat' utilities to split up the file. For example, before transferring, you would do:
split -b 2m file_name
This creates 2-MB files with names 'xaa', 'xab', 'xac', and so on. Transfer them to the host, and then on the host do:
cat x?? > file_name
Of course, if your host is really this limiting on upload sizes, I have a feeling that they don't give you access to the unix command line, and thus this method will not work.

$179, including shipping.
Not bad, especially since you aren't shipping it off until your 3G is in your hand!
