hi,
Any attorneys or experts please advice.
I want to have my I - 140 premium processed, I was looking at the following link.

It has mentioned that
Copies of all Forms I-94, Arrival/Departure Record and I-797 H-1B or L approval notices that have been issued on his or her behalf;
Is it true? I have visited india almost 7 times from last 8 years including my F-1 status. With little knowledge I have during that time, I never made a copy or kept a copy of my all I - 94s.
So the question is how big of an impact it will be if I do not have all my I - 94s. And also where can I get copies of my I - 94s if I want.

Hi,
I have AOS and was recently laid off from my job. As I haven't found another job by the removal-from-payroll deadline, my H1B will expire. My question is, once I get my EAD, can I apply for a new H1B. The motivation is that I can bring a spouse over on a dependant visa only on H1B but not on AOS. How should I work this out?

Does anyone know if there would be some kind of record about
when and how many times we have spoken to the IIO.
Like will a IIO be able to look at one's receipt# and say if they have spoken to an IIO earlier that day or whenever that is?

I am a labour substitution case pd feb 2002 filed 140 in June at NSC. My 140 has been pending for more than a year. Now recently I received 2 year ead.
Does this imply my 140 is approved too???
Is it safe to work on ead of one gets 2 year ead with pending 140.??

I do not understand why they grant EADs when your I-140 is not approved. The reason I bring this up is if a person loses his/her job and your I-140 is revoked, the EAD is useless. You cannot use AC21 for that because your I-140 is not approved.
Nebraska center is doing nothing regarding I-140 EB-3 (India) apps. The I-140 date at Nebraska has beeing moving by 1 day per month for the last 7-8 months. It is stuck at March 30th 2007. Moreover, the latest "as of" i.e. "report" date that you see on Nebraska is July 31st 2008. It is not current (Sept 2008) as many of you may think.
I understand that they receive 1000s of applications but that is no excuse for incompetence. As of July 31st, it was taking them 1 year and 4 months and now it is 1 year and 6 months to process I-140.

Hi,
I need some clarification regarding my case,
--> Got H1b approved for Employer A in 2008, during stamping received 221G.
--> Submitted documents in 2009 and got stamping done in May 2009.
--> Now Employer B has applied for fresh H1B 2010.
My questions are,
When my petition is approved and having the petition in my hand, do i need to get the visa stamping before travelling for Employer B?:mad:
Will my visa stamp for Employer B only have the starting date to be from October 2011?:mad:
Is there any remote possibility that i can travel for my Employer B at any time earlier to October 2011?:mad:
Note: Have never travelled on H1 (Employer A's Petition)

does the employment letter have to be exactly in the same format as described in 'filing your 485 on your own thread' or can it be a simple letter stating the job title, salary, responsibilities etc?........is it ok to file 485 on my own eventhough the rest of the process was handled by attorney?.......for any immigration matters my company just forwards me to their lawyer.......and there is chance the lawyer might get pissed off if I file 485 on my own.......any ideas?
