Is your iPhone set up as a brand new phone or restored from an old backup?
Because it definitely seems like iPhones (all models) slow down once they have a pretty long "history".

Yeah, the whole 2G = 2nd Generation thing is getting old. Most people with any sense can discern 2G from 2GB, but that's assuming that most people have any sense, which sadly isn't the case.
(I don't get it; when people say they have a 120 Gigabyte Hard Drive in their computer, they always say "120GB," not "120G." So why get confused at "2G iPod?" It's simply confounding!)
Even with clarification, people still foul it up. I concur with recommending to referring to it as the G2 Shuffle, or even "new iPod shuffle" as Apple refers to it on their site.
I'd recommend naming it "clippy" but well... that would just start a whole new debacle!

I love my 2003 Passat, which is still going strong (though it was not without its problems). Its size is also perfect for me. I really didn't like the styling of its successor, which just looked too bloated, and the thought of an even larger one just makes me cringe. The new one looks pretty boring and generic, IMO. Guess I'll stick it out with my 2003 a little longer....

Not true.. I am the Art Director for a Art department that makes grocery store ads.
Soda is not a common loss leader since it's DSD Pepsi/Coke keep close price controls.
I usually see produce and meat used as loss leaders..
All food margins are bad for grocery stores...they end up making the most money off of their non-food items...which is why you often see a growing number of non-food aisles.
Another point... I expect that TJ MAXX just bought up a bunch of the Refurbished iPads and is taking a $50 loss on each to get people in the stores.

Well they did pay money for it. They are probably losing between $70-$100 on each iPad.

I seriously doubt the figure of "80 iPads total" aquired by TJ Maxx that is speculated in the article, but who knows.
I think he meant 8,000. I did the math myself. All you do is count the number of stores east of colorado or so. I estimate 50%-60% of stores got 10 iPads each...throw in some Marshalls stores...and you get between 5,000 - 10,000 iPads.
(notice how some Marshalls stores are holding off on their iPads until Black Friday...maybe they are apple users who actually figure out they have a prized possession...i can see most managers just saying..what are these ipads..lets just give them away).

Well, it would have been nice but my company (delivers packages, owns Memphis) switched to Exchange about a year ago, mostly because Notes was too damned expensive. Oh well.

I see a lot of BS in this thread and a lot of people pretending to be IT who aren't. As far as someone saying windows server 2008 is rock solid...I completely disagree.
And whoever thinks Dell has great enterprise support I absolutely 100% disagree. Their support is freaking terrible and I love how they try and claim that they can't cover servers under warranty if the server is at an APO address. Dell is too stupid to realize any APO address, regardless of where it is at in the world is U.S. soil. /rant
Anyway OP, windows generally dominates the enterprise world but it doesn't mean macs can't be used.

The controllers are really needed.
IMHO:
The Atari Joystick is the best video game controller of all time.
The trackball is a must for playing games like centipede or millipede.
And playing breakout or kaboom without a paddle controller is not the same.
As mentioned above the iCade has to include a trackball.
Maybe a bluetooth adapter could be used to use the old controllers?
I hope that Activision also release their games.

That's only 1,258,291.2 gigabytes ... If each customer gets, say, 500 megabytes allocated, that's enough for 2,516,582 customers.
To be safe more like enough for 2.5 million customers @ 500 megabytes (which isn't very high, I would hope for more like 5000 megabytes/5 gigabytes, but then that's only enough for like 251,658 customers).
Point is, they better have another 10+ Pb along the way ...

Lets hope they fix the OSX Server SMTP issue as well. We had to move everyone off of outlook for Mac because it would no longer connect for the SMTP side of our OSX server. Could receive email no problem but would not send. Move to OSX Mail and no issue. Outlook on PC no issue. Very odd problem and could not solve it.
