Just saw that Ati released the new low cost 6670, 6570, and 6450, anyone know if you could possible put these in a 1,1 Mac pro, of course after flashing using Zues or from a PC?

Why did Apple get rid of the Apple on the command key? It was way cooler than it just saying "command" like a Windows computer...

Best to make sure you plug those ""line level" plugs into a "phono" input on your receiver, otherwise, you may end up with sound that will be tinny and have way too much treble.
This is due to the fact that the output from a phonograph cartridge has to have RIAA equalization applied before being amplified in your receiver/amp. Check your turntable's manual and see if the output to the (RCA stereo) cables is already equalized or not. Good luck going old school!

Hey, just came across this thread looking for similar cameras to the Flip, or any recommendations to just grab a Flip while I can. Anyone else want to weigh in on similar camcorders?
I saw that CompUSA has the JVC GC-FM2B (http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6694102&sku=J300-1252&cm_re=Homepage-_-Spot%2005-_-CatId_4441_J300-1252) for $79, which sounds like a really good deal, but I don't know much about it. It records in MP4, which is nice for loading onto an iPod without any extra steps, but I saw some complaints about battery life in HD mode.

Then try Disk Utility and delete the Windows partition, then drag the divider of the Mac OS X partition to the bottom.

Early in the morning is when the providers gather up info about data usage and post to your account. It has nothing to do with when you used it.
You might be able to get t-mobile to block the data.

So I can't seem to find a definitive answer to my question online in various searches. Two times recently when I started my Mini it beeped first before starting up. The first time was definitely the three beeps, as if bad memory. I have 3GB, 1 GB is the original memory + 2GB from OWC. I have had the memory in the mini for more than a year. I do have 8GB of memory available, just been to lazy to tear open the mini & put it in.
Today, a few days after the 3 beeps, the Mini started with a series of beeps. I am sure it wasn't the 3 beeps, more like 4 or more I think. Then it would restart the beep series. This happened a few times, then the Mini started normally.
I also occasionally hear a scratching like noise come from the mini every now & then.
Just wondering if anyone here had any ideas. I do have Applecare on the machine ( I got it the very last day ), so I am assuming Apple will help. I also have an Apple store relatively close by, but it's such a crowded zoo, that I'd rather avoid that if possible.
Thanx

Not sure, I have a problem with Mp3's in Final Cut Pro (audio cuts in and sound sometimes).
If it doesnt work whaty ou would want to do, is convert the AAC to an AIFF -> go to "iTunes -> Preferences -> Importing -> Import To: AIFF" then select the file you want to use, and go up to "Advanced -> Convert Selected File to AIFF..." then it will convert the file to an AIFF that works perfectly with FCP and FCE, just navigate to your Music folder to find the AIFF file.

Oh, ha! Yeah, in the first post when I said I checked that, I meant that I looked at it and verified that it was unchecked!

Cool! Thank you! I think there were actually several variations of that one, too. I tried looking it up in the wayback machine but it didn't have it.

From what I've seen, it looks like it would a PITA to install your own SSD in an iMac.

1. Open Disk Utility
2. Select your hard drive from the left-hand-side column (NOTE: It's not the Macintosh HD but the one above it)
3. Click the Partition tab
4. Click the + icon
5. Give a name to the new partition
6. Use Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as format
7. Define its size
8. Click Apply
Then open the Lion disk image and start installing it to the new partition you just created. No data should be erased.

OK so now we are using normal, standard terminology :)
A Mac app is actually a folder with a special structure. It may be possible to do what you want. The general structure of a normal Mac app is as follows:
MyApp.app
Bryan Adams - So Far So Good
ryan adams album summer of 69
likedownload ryan photography
Bryan Adams Albums and Other

that's the Smooth tool not the Brush tool. If that's what you really get when you click the Brush tool try resetting Illustrator's Preferences:
Move or rename the Adobe Illustrator Preferences file: Users/[user]/Library/
Preferences/Adobe Illustrator CS[X] Settings
Then restart Illustrator.

I you have 4 cores, use all for of them, if you have only one proc (with 2 cores) then use only two. Don't use the graphical client, it slows down a little bit... Also I don't think it can handle multiple cores.
Which app are you talking about? All the Intel F@H clients launch 4 threads, which mean they would automatically take advantage of 2 or 4 cores, unless I'm missing something....

I would except I threw away the reciept and packaging a while ago. I'll just continue using this one until I can find a good deal on a better one.

The mainsite.swf file only shows me some black blips and a yellow bar, and nothing else. The spatialtest.swf only shows me a big yellow box. Kinda hard to diagnose a problem looking at those.

Asking specific tax questions on an online forum is just asking for problems.
You should have tax forms from your university. Call them and ask or call the IRS and ask. But asking on an internet forum is a bad idea..

Your link is dead and try including a little blurb about the article, just having a title and a link looks far too much like spam
EDIT: Link is now live again, weird.
