If you are so inclined, you can boot into Windows 7 write FF's to recover any partial NAND blocks.
The SSD's in the Air's have decent garbage collection, so this isn't really necessary. Some may even recommend against it due to the extra duty cycles involved.
I wrote up a somewhat detailed explanation of GC and Trim on NBR for a Sony Z1 I purchased.

I'm going to attempt a transplant of the Sony 512GB SSD "sammich" into the 13" MBA sometime this week. Not sure if the cables are going to line up, but the PCB's will fit.

XtremeMac have just announced the AirPlay FM transmitter (http://www.xtrememac.com/pr_images/011105/index.shtml) for the iPod - looks like an excellent rival to the iTrip: no installation of playlists needed and doesn't cover the hold switch, both of which are annoying features of the iTrip, and the same model fits iPods and minis.

I'd use apple's battery replacement program. You get a refurb iPod the same model as your current one. It is $60 and you don't have to worry about breaking it when replacing the battery (which I did once). It will cost more, but it is like getting a new iPod. I did it recently and was quite happy.

My university's library had a high-volume scanner available for public use. It's an Epson, but forgive me I don't know the model. One of the all-in-one printer size units, but it was just a scanner with a document feeder capable of holding 200 pages. All I had to do was download the Epson software for better feeder control, and add the IP address in Print/Fax. Then it worked like a charm.

I see people talking about just buying an Air and returning it. What exactely is the policy if they buy online? Are these people paying restocking fees for simply returning an Air??

What time are you guys planning on lining up there? I was thinking about doing the whole 32 hours again - homage to the iPhone 4 - but wondering what the facilities are like around Apple Sydney. Is it a 24/7 store like 5th avenue?

Nope, everything is as it should be. Tax will be charged, but that's it...no shipping or hidden fees. I put 2700 on an Apple order and it was exactly how it should be. Relax and go get your iPod nano :D

I played PP for quite awhile and promoted it heavily here as well, ;). Very fun game but it has some fundamental flaws, imo, which kept me from playing for more than about 8 months. It's something I still fire up on occasion for kicks, but it's not a game I play regularly anymore.
In short, before you ask, the flaws are basically that the puzzles get slightly repetitive after awhile, but you still HAVE to do them in order to "advance" your character (that is, earn money which is more or less the main non-reputation goal). The communication system was a little cumbersome in my opinion, as was the on land traveling system. Lastly, while the Sea Battle and blockade stuff is fun, there's not enough interactivity for the crew during these things. I enjoyed Captaining ships in sea battles, but crewing them was just puzzle, puzzle, puzzle, swordfighting puzzle, puzzle puzzle puzzle... got a bit boring.
But, still, a fun game for awhile, and fun to go back to every now and again...

This is for the Apple Store. Neglected to put that in the title.
Just an FYI for those still considering heading out there to buy one. The line was about 200 deep this morning at 8am when I arrived. It took 6.5 hours for me to get in and get my phone.
Will they have phones all day? Most likely. Just prepare to wait. The line seemed to stay about 60 people long after 11am. If it stays that, estimate about 2 hours minimum.
No word on quantities. They claimed they "didn't know". But really, how hard is it to go in the back and count up the number of cases they have in about 10 minutes?
Have fun!
I arrived at Alderwood around 6:30am and didn't get out of there until over 5 hours later myself.... i personally thought they could have done a better job at this as there were quite a few Apple employees standing around and only a couple actually working with the customers to get us our phones.
thankfully though, i did get my 16gb white iPhone... had to leave the store without it being activated because they were having problems with their systems.. but 30 minutes later when i got home i was able to activate it online right away...

Should I have restored to factory first? I don't want useless or corrupted files on the phone. Does it matter?

Try buying TV series instead of illegally downloading them off the net.
Just a tad harsh there. We download and delete within 30 days just the same as is legal on any laptop. Maybe will just download to laptop :)

I recently got an iMac G4 (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/stats/imac_700_fp.html) and I am attempting to upgrade the memory. The specs show that it takes 1 512 mb PC 133 SDRAM SODIMM and 1 512 mb PC 133 SDRAM DIMM. The computer originally came with 256 mb (2x128). I upgraded the SODIMM to 512 mb - no problem. However, I have gone through 2 RAM sticks (http://www.amazon.com/512MB-SDRAM-133Mhz-DESKTOP-MEMORY/dp/B003CH7MY0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302143645&sr=8-1) and (http://www.amazon.com/Generic-512-MB-PC133-SDRAM/dp/B000068IKV/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1302143669&sr=8-2), but they WILL NOT POST or show up in "About my Mac" or the system profiler. I am really confused as to what's going on because it recognizes the original 128 mb DIMM no problem. Is the RAM I am using incompatible? It doesn't seem to be as it's PC133 SDRAM DIMMs. Looking for any other iMac G4 owners who have some advice...

Downgrades are not possible normally. The only way to downgrade is to restore to the base version of the OS you wish to downgrade to (or whatever came with your Mac if you haven't upgraded since you bought it), then update to the desired minor version of that OS. Keep in mind that you can't downgrade to anything older than what your Mac came with.
I'd try Sun Baked's suggestions before mine, though.

Yes! I see that is a problem now ... thanks, Intell.
But, on the Redmond Pie website (http://www.redmondpie.com/jailbreak-4.3.2-ios-iphone-4-with-pwnagetool-4.3.2-bundle-how-to-tutorial/), that was the file linked to in Step 1. So how do I find the correct bundle? I am unable to locate it on their site.
Thanks!

So I can't integrate Parallels then, right?
It's either Bootcamp OR Parallels, can't have both...?
Actually yes, it can be done. I just learned this myself yesterday.
However, you cannot do it with Parallels (as far as I know), but with VMWare Fusion.
Check out this knowledge base article:
Launching your Boot Camp partition in VMware Fusion (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1014618)
