I have an Ion Profile Pro USB turntable. In addition to the USB connection, it has a set of RCA (red and white) output jacks. However, the instructions indicate that the output of the RCA jacks is line level, which is not strong enough to power speakers by itself. Most USB turntables that have aux outputs are like this, from the research I've done.
If your turntable has the RCA outputs, you'll need a small receiver or amp to power the speakers.

Doubt they'll give you a new unit but they WILL fix your current one, go ahead and bring it in.

Yeah, I did that, and it had already been unchecked. They're still not working even with that unchecked.

I jailbroke my iPod Touch 4G a few days ago, and I'm trying to sync it with iTunes for the first time since.
When I try to sync, I get a message saying "This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPod "(name)". Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?" If I click the Authorize button and enter my password, a new box pops up saying "This computer is already authorized." As soon as I click OK on that box, the original box pops back up saying it's not authorized. I have to cancel the sync in order to stop the loop.
I tried to manually deauthorize and reauthorize the computer, but that didn't stop the messages from appearing. I just installed iTunes 10.2, but I've seen on other websites that people had this issue before updating. I'm running 4.2.1 and I jailbroke with greenpois0n rc6.
Any help would be appreciated!

How long have you had the computer, and how long has it been acting this way? Did it start after you changed any Hardware or Software on it?

guys, i have this little problem...........i have an airport Express and wireless internet connection............so, the problem is that when i close the lit and the computer goes to sleep, the wireless connection gets lost.......so i loose my internet con. If i wanna keep downloading something of the internet all night i have to leave the computer open because if a close it the internet connection will shut down.
i have a powerbook 15 albook.......my girl has a p.b. 12" albook and hers doesn't have that problem. I've looked everywere to change this but i just can't seem to find how..........

I noticed Apple online store was down last week, next minute, it was back up with the new Mac Pro, the new xServe, and Mac Office 2008. Sooooooo I will definately be interested to see what shows itself in a few hours time :D

I think this could actually mean expansion into the in-car Mac niche. If they have a suitable frontend for a "Media Centre" (nodd to our euro brothers ;) ) they could use the same techniques for an in-car computer.
I know with the widget intergration you could have a rather custom and sweet looking iTunes interface for your car.

Hasn't really happened to me either, but it did on my old laptop so I'd rather not let that happen. Dust, hair, crumbs .. i hate it lol (especially since my laptop is open almost all the time)
With that being said, if they didn't have a clear one like the one I have, then I probably wouldn't have gotten one. The one in the OP looks too tacky for my taste.

You need some form of database to house the data of the products you intend to sell. As long as it understands SQL (Standard Query Language, I think) then PHP will be able to talk to it. It's just that all of the tutorials and everything are geared towards MySQL.

I've done basic PHP dev on dialup when necessary...it's not a dream but it's functional. Image heavy sites or anything with flash or video content would have been a problem, though.

If in the USA both ATT an Verizon have jacked up price on all full purchased iPhones by $50.
Before Verizon came on board. ATT was charging $699 for 32GB iphone4. When Verizon came on board they increased price to $749.
ATT did the same. So Price of white no contract iPhone 4 is $749 at either Verizon or ATT.
Maybe someone on craigslist will sell it to you for a little cheaper but they are going at a premium now since they haven't been out more than one week.

I will be driving down to NH from New York ... and i know NH is a tax free state ... there is this apple store at 99 Rockingham Park Blvd. Salem, NH 03079 i want to go visit, my question is if i get a mac book pro air ultimate or an ipad at that location would i just pay the price and no tax, my credit card has billing address in new york. thanks

The Mini has 8gb RAM from OWC but I was under the impression that Mac OS easily used all of the 8gb in 32 bit mode and you would have to have somewhere around 32gb for it to benefit you to run in 6 bit mode.

The short answer is, for now, iMovie for iPad generally only works with video clips taken with the iPad 2. That probably isn't what you want to hear and I feel your pain.

I feel Apple will eventually make the process of editing clips from other cameras easier on the iPad but for now it's a pain and requires a separate computer for conversion.
