The current MBPs are extremely fast. I recommend going for that, even the baseline model.

I can not edit song info using my iTunes. When I do File->Get Info and then go to the info Tab all the fields appear to be read-only. I can not edit. Can anybody tell me how to do it?

might go with uninstalling your itunes application or go fix your ipod touch by updating with latest firmware

I am working on a project which will be translated into five different languages which will call for Roman, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets. I am aiming to produce all the documents in the same font sets so am looking for fonts that cover all these languages. Does anyone have any suggestions of font families that cover this range? They don't need to be freebies, I have a budget for fonts.
In particular I am looking for a serif body text font that reads nicely and a sans serif display font. Nothing too outlandish, it's a fairly serious report.

I swapped the cpu's and psu as well, my guess is also the main board. it might be worth replacing, but its a 1,1 so its pretty old.

The file spl.php is being downloaded from the website referenced in the iframe here. Remove the section of code above and all should be fine.

I'm wondering if there's a keyboard shortcut that will let me navigate to the place(s) on a webpage where there is a text box for input, rather than having to move the mouse to that exact location when I'm moving between web pages ... ?

Yesterday Safari went APE on me not wanting to re-open itself, just instantly crashing, and today it works, but I get this on nearly every other page.

It is driving me insane. I am also having issue with Safari running very slowly with multiple tabs open and this is on my 2010 i5 quad so it should be smoking along.
Other experiencing this webpages reloading pop up? This might be the first time I have had to abandon Safari for Firefox as all I am doing is error reporting on this machine at this point.

Hi, I have an iMac 500 mhz slot loader, she has Jaguar installed on her and the other day I was starting it up, and it makes it past the load bar and goes to the blue screen showing the loading animation on the cursor, but its freezes there, i can move the mouse but nothing happens! It keeps doing this every time i start up, anyone got any ideas?

you probably need to install MacDrive (http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/) or HFS+ (http://www.paragon-software.com/home/hfs-windows/) on your winsloth installation.
If you are leaving it connected to the Time Capsule, then you should not have to install any HFS+ drivers. You should be able to turn on Windows sharing and see it over the network as an SMB/CIFS share.
If you can already see the internal drive in your network you have Windows sharing turned on, otherwise use Airport Utility to turn it on first.

I have an promotional mousepad from when (I think) apple was making their G3 macs. It is plain gray with Apple� written on it in black font that is the same font as the G3 iMac. I was wondering if it is rare, or there were many of them made, ect.
I don't have my iPhone right now so i can't take a picture...
I'm just curious is all.

Either use Time Machine to regularly backup your hard drive however if you're formatting you're probably not wanting to go back to what the drive was like so just use an external drive and occasionally drag over the updated itunes folder which will have all your music in.

Apps like iheartradio and Wunder Radio work over a 3G connection. Granted, they won't have all of your local stations, but they have a great selection, especially Wunder Radio.

Well, I used to do often reinstalls of tiger on it and it worked fine. But see I cannot find the tiger DVD and the iBook g4 discs were my last hope. I tried install disc 2 and that came up with something in text edit but not any applications or anything. I installed Microsoft office 04 the other day (like three days ago) and it worked great. I mean It shows up but has nothing on it!!! This iBook is getting on my nerves! Is there anyway I can reformat the system without needing a disk?????

Inklet (http://tenonedesign.com/inklet.php) is a program that will turn your trackpad into a tablet so it works like the screen of an iphone/ipad. It works well and is not very expensive. There is a trial version so you can see if works for you. I use a capacitive stylus with Inklet and Autograph (http://tenonedesign.com/autograph.php) (by same company) with my macbook and macbook air.
